Why people take their own lives. This week alone,I have heard of 3 people who chose to end their lives. 2 men in their 40's and now the 18 year old son of Marie Osmond. I just don't understand. This is such a permanent solution to what is hopefully only a temporary problem. But it happens everyday, in every walk of life. Privileged or poor, famous or not, it doesn't matter.
I know the person who makes this choice is in pain and it must be unimaginable for them to do this. But why can't they think about those they are leaving behind and the excruciating pain their loved ones will be forced to endure. Maybe if they would consider this, it might help them to make a different choice.
I just don't understand....
